To Market, to Market…

And here we go…

St. Louis is incredibly fortunate to have some amazing local farmers markets, as well as a vibrant community that comes out and supports the markets. There’s something special about being able to tell my story - they’re my grandmother’s caramels, the original is pecan, and I went “variation on the theme” - and engage with potential customers. There’s joy in being outside among other creators, meeting people, engaging in interesting conversations, and enjoying the weather. If you’re lucky there is live music, or children giggling while playing with a soccer ball.

So, support your local farmers market. The vendors can tell you where their food comes from, how they made their special items, why they started their companies, what their favorite flavor/taste/smell or thing is, and please remember that you are supporting a dream.
